By translators and interpreters, for translators and interpreters
By translators and interpreters, for translators and interpreters. This first IAPTI international conference provides a platform for discussion of the most burning issues affecting our profession: unethical agency practices; the relationship between the translator, their client and money; international rates for translation services, and much more besides. These matters have a direct impact on our professional lives, so we should have our voices heard.
The first International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters’ (IAPTI) international conference is a one-day event with 18 sessions held in three parallel rooms at the Hilton London Kensington Hotel. A unique highlight of the conference, a round table on international rates, will be an unprecedented forum for a debate. The day after the conference is devoted to discussion, networking, and enjoying London from the translators’ perspective.
