We’re thrilled to have Kilgray on board again for the upcoming conference and have asked them a couple of questions.
Why did you decide to become a sponsor of the IAPTI Third International Conference?
Conferences are mostly about business. Based on the first two first two conferences, IAPTI is more than that. It is a highly professional event where attendees can get information on latest developments, meet industry thought leaders, network with friends, peers and new people in an informal environment.
How important is it, in your opinion, for translators and interpreters to engage in CPD?
Being a good translator & interpreter is not only a question of skills: one has to learn a lot to become a professional. However, this learning phase will never end: translators and interpreters have to keep up with trends, and broaden their horizons to remain competitive and to make sure they feel happy with what they are doing. Live and learn.
Why our attendees should come and talk to you at your booth?
Learning is very important for both of us. Although there are a lot of translators in the core Kilgray-memoQ team, we’d love to hear your feedback on what you like/don’t like about memoQ, and what you’d need to be even more productive. In addition to that, our team is happy to provide you with up-to-date information on memoQ, show latest developments, discuss tips & tricks and much more.
Thank you, Sandor!
