Meg and her team have been in charge of our conference websites since 2013. Websites for Translators is a young and dynamic company which found a real niche: creating websites for translators, interpreters, editors and writers. Meg, not a translator herself, has been surrounded by people involved with IT and translation throughout the whole life and decided to mix the two areas.
Why did you decide to become a sponsor of the IAPTI Third International Conference?
To support IAPTI and promote their ethical approach to translation and interpreting.
How important is it, in your opinion, for translators and interpreters to engage in CPD?
Staying up to date is important in any profession to be able to offer better service to your clients, so I think this applies equally to translators and interpreters as well. To improve service, be able to make your services more needed and get new projects with broadening skill set.
Why our attendees should contact you?
We can offer a branding, marketing and web design service that can in the long term increase their client base and help in promotion a lot. Being a translation and interpreter is running your own business, so the materials and services we offer will help in expansion, promotion, marketing and projecting a professional image, among other benefits.
Thank you, Meg!
