My life as a translator began in 1992 when I joined BTL/SIL International as a Bible translator. As an in house translator I managed to translate the Bible in my language as well as train other translators from Sudan, Congo, Tanzania, Uganda, and Ethiopia. In 2012, I moved from being an in house translator to a freelance translator to date. I hold a BA in Translation Studies and MDS (Master of Development Studies), majoring in children's development. Besides translation, I am the founder of Kilifi Watoto Center (kilifiwatotocenter.org), a children's charity based in Kilifi that empowers vulnerable children. Music, is my other passion, with the guitar as my favorite instrument and a few albums under my belt.
