I have always been obsessed with efficiency and productivity (for the sake of my health: I want more free time for myself). In this competitive world, where our main working tool is not a pen but a computer (and a tablet and a smartphone…), having a good set of computing skills really changes the rules of the game, the competitiveness and the profitability of our work. In this short talk, Xosé Castro will set out the principles of computer productivity and efficiency and he will suggest some tips and ‘hacks’ for translators and interpreters.
