“When was ever honey made with one bee in the hive?” The answer is obviously never as honey-making takes the collaborative effort of the entire hive. But if we look closer, we’ll see that behind every great idea there is a team: collaborating, planning and ultimately sharing the burden.

The Business Language Boutique team, Ewa Jasinska-Davidson, Justyna Gutowska and Katharina Wawrzon-Stewart will showcase examples of their collaborative projects and offer compelling evidence why linguists are stronger together than apart. Drawing on their experience in translation, conference interpreting and business services, they will discuss case studies to demonstrate how time, capacity and quality problems can be addressed through a collaborative approach and also how to upsell services, bid for projects and expand one’s portfolio. Audience participation will be highly encouraged!
They will also stress the importance of trust and common values as pillars of collaboration. The Team believes that human and soft skills are and will become increasingly important in the age of artificial intelligence, automation and digitalisation of the work place.
