We were delighted when Meg from Websites for Translators approached us and offered to sponsor the event. We’re grateful to Meg and her team and we decided to feature Websites for Translators in our sponsor highlight.
Websites for Translators is a young and dynamic company which found a real niche: creating websites for translators, interpreters, editors and writers. Meg, not a translator herself, has been surrounded by people involved with IT and translation throughout the whole life and decided to mix the two areas.
Meg works with a team of designers and developers on helping translators mark their presence through well-crafted logos, business cards and beautiful websites.
We started working with Websites for Translators in the early phase of organising the conference. They designed the conference logo based on our guidelines and developed our conference website. Right now we’re working on conference materials together. Meg is a very reliable partner!
We asked Meg why she wanted to support the Conference in the first place:
“I think it’s an excellent opportunity for translators and interpreters to discuss the practical issues of their work that are really important. IAPTI is prepared to talk about real issues that matter to translators. At Websites for Translators, we emphasise being practical and creative, too, so I thought we’d match the Conference profile.”
All our Conference attendees will be able to meet Meg and her team at the Websites for Translators’ stand on the 5th of October.
