ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
I do combine a strong background in finance, economics and legalese with a passion for the English language. Between translating legal documents (Loan Agreements and the like), teaching young adults in Financial English and Economics, keeping up to date on what is going on in finance (I am still working as an auditor in a large federal bank), I still found the time and passion to finish the MBA (2020) and the MA in Translation (2023) with The Open University. I have an in-house translation history of > 10 years and finally started my own business alongside working on my dissertation in August 2022. I have found my passion and feedback from customers is such that I intend to increase the amount of translation/editing/proofreading jobs I am taking on. While I have my obvious fields of expertise, I am open to more general fields of work as well.
