ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
I have been working as a sole trader since February 2006 offering a range of linguistic services including translations, tuition and interpreting. Since November 2022, I have set up a limited company, languages are u ltd, here in the UK. Still one-man company but this may change in the future.
I have a Masters degree in Applied Languages from University of Provence in France, obtained in 2000. I hold a Diploma for Public Service Interpreting in law since June 2007 and in health since June 2011. I started my interpreting career working for the public services in the UK back in 2007 but quickly decided to turn to the private sector and have since gained a lot of experience as a conference interpreter. I have been involved in major UN events such as COP23, COP24, COP26, COP27 for climate change issues and COP15 for biodiversity. A lot of my work today is done online with various platforms available such as Zoom, Kudo, Interprefy, Webex to name a few
