ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
I have worked at the State University UNIVERSIDAD DE SAN CARLOS DE GUATEMALA, since 2011in translation topics, such as Commercial, Economic, Literary and Scientific & Technical Translation. I also teach topics such as Analysis and Summaries, Writing as well as Investigation.
Since 2012, I also work at a private University Universidad Mariano Gálvez de Guatemala, where besides the above I have also taught Introduction to CAT Tools and Legal Terminology. At Universidad Mariano Gálvez I also teach in the B.S. program preparation of Teachers for English as a Second Language.
In both universities I mentor students in their preparation to enter the workforce.
I recently obtained my masters degree in University Education.

Interpretation Freelance: 1978 to 1982. 2010 to date. I have experience in sight, consecutive and simultaneous interpretation. Organizations for whom I have interpreted: International Republic Institute, FAO, Humanitas Global, UNICEF, Buckner Guatemala, Embassy of Canada and others.
