I have a bachelor’s degree in Languages/Letters (English and Portuguese) with a focus on Translations, and have been working as a professional translator since 2008, both in-house and as a freelancer, for companies that range from small local translation offices to large global firms, such as PwC and SDL Plc. I am most experienced in localizing business, marketing, IT, travel/hospitality and financial content from English to Portuguese (and vice-versa) of documents such as user and service guides, marketing and promotional materials, website content for online travel agencies, IT companies and electronics manufactures, as well as training collateral, technical instructions, legal documents, and financial reports (financial statements, quarterly information and environmental responsibility reports). I am also a seasoned user of the SDL Trados Studio CAT tool.
