ABOUT MARCELA.- Marcela
is a hardworking, 24/7, and dedicated translator with experience at corporative
banks, hospitals, contract research organizations (CRO), publishing house,
language schools, work and start operative procedures (making and implementing),
all Plan and Protocols documents (like but not limited to: Informed consent
forms, Ethics committee  communications,
study questionnaires, Case Report Forms, PnP Amendments, manuals, etc.),
complying with both COFEPRIS (Mexican regulatory body) and the FDA (USA regulatory
body), translation, proofreading, editing, copywriting, transcreation, and localization.
She is a member of the American Translators Association and the International
Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters. Marcela has been
trained in European Quality Standard EN-15038:2006 by Universidad
Iberoamericana, and I am currently being trained in ISO 17100 for
certification. She also has more than 13 years of experience in electronic document
control (certified by MasterControl & Agile). And during the last ten
years, Marcela hast written six books which are already published and commercially
available. She uses CAT Tools.

EXPERTISE.- Most
of Marcela?s experiences working in translation have been mainly focused on
translation, proofreading, editing, style corrections, transcreation, and
localization, in general as well as in medical, writing, and teaching fields.
She interprets both English and Spanish presentations, negotiations, and group
discussions. Marcela also has experience in teaching language websites,
internationally coordinate translators and editors, movies transcription and subtitling.

VOLUNTEER WORK.- Marcela
has been working as a volunteer translator for the last few years, in two of
the most important international online platforms: Coursera & Alison.
