My professional career began in Ocean Translations, a prestigious LSP based in Rosario, Argentina, where I translated, edited, and proofread multiple materials, including advertising, commerce, automotive industry, cosmetics, education, Engineering, fashion, furniture and household appliances, videogames, oil & gas industry, etc.
During my time at Ocean (2007-2016), I gained extensive knowledge in the use of SDL Trados, SDLX, Wordfast Pro, MadCap Lingo V6, Logoport, TranStudio, and iOmegaT. I became part of a small team who were also selected to work as Over-the-phone Interpreters for LLE-Link (now Voiance) within the company and was later trained in Full and Light Machine Translation Post-Editing by Cisco in the early days of MT.

Alkemist Translation Company is a European LSP with offices in Ljubljana, Zagreb, Prague, and Belgrade. I started working for the Zagreb office in 2014 (until 2016) as a Spanish proofreader and also tested candidates, new hires, and junior translators. The main fields of translation I worked with during this period were history, tourism, and traveling. I was soon contacted by the other offices for Spanish consulting, review, and proofreading services.

Dotsub is a technology company specialized in subtitles, named to Slator’s Top Ten Fastest-Growing LSPs in 2020. It’s based in NY; USA and I worked remotely for five years as a Project Manager (2016-2021). Here I gained vast experience in captioning, and subtitling technologies and standards. In addition to my project management duties, I provided captioning, translation, and transcription services in Spanish, reviewed and compared materials in Spanish and other languages to ensure adherence to glossaries, style guides, and accessibility policies. Among many other tasks, I oversaw QA processes and terminology maintenance for different accounts, including Adobe and Big Sofa Technologies. Our main fields of translation were educational corporate materials, education, and market research.

Eriksen Translations is an LSP based in NY, USA, with more than 35 years in the industry. It was ranked among North America’s top 30 according to CSA Research in 2021. The company specializes in translations for the public sector, serving many of NY’s government agencies. Since August 2021, I am working as Project Manager for one of Eriksen’s main accounts in NY. My duties include review and proofreading, style guide and accessibility options adherence, terminology management, and TM maintenance. I oversee the daily QA processes and quarterly QA audits.
