ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
My professional experience began as a freelancer at Traduplus, a company dedicated to provide subtitles and dubbing scripts translations. I worked with translation, localization, AQ testing and spotting of subtitles and dubbing scripts for E! L. America, Discovery Communications, HBO, among others. After almost 2 years of working with Traduplus, I started working for Clic R.L as a freelancer translator/interpreter. Clic R.L, as well as their representatives, has gained a well-earned reputation nationally and internationally as a translation company. Thanks to them, I had the opportunity to specialize in the legal, technical, academic, and oil/gas/mining areas. I was also able to prove myself as simultaneous-escort interpreter for the International Observers Mission that attended the presidential elections in Venezuela in 2012. I worked with Clic R.L until August 2017, and since then I have been working with my own portfolio. I’m currently studying a MA in Translation for International Communication at Vigo University.
