Deluxe Media Entertainment (https://www.bydeluxe.com) 2005-2010 and 2015 (ongoing): I joined Deluxe Media Entertainment in 2005 as an in-house translator and QA subtitling editor. After a five-year hiatus between 2010 and 2015 for a Library in Education job, i resumed my work for Deluxe, but now as a self-employed translator. They are my main client for translations so far. The job involves translating and timing subtitles, formatting for CC and Deaf and Hard of Hearing captions, proofing and QA. Machine Translation PostEditing is also now becoming part of the job for which i received both in-house and external training. Occasionally, transcription tasks and metadata translations are also required.
