ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
I am a professional Spanish translator and editor, and have been working for several United Nations specialized agencies as well as for the private and public sectors for over twenty years.
Experience with those agencies has enabled me to deal with a wide range of technical and scientific topics. My interest in the United Nations system priority areas led me to engage in Post Graduate studies in Development Management, providing me with better grounds for understanding and analysing development issues as well as collaborative work within the system through its commitment to cross-cutting issues.
I have worked in the fields mentioned above for organizations such as the World Food Programme (Food and Agriculture); the World Meteorological Organization, IUCN, IPCC and IFAD (Environment and Ecology); several UN agencies and the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (Medicine and Health); OHCHR, AP Ban Convention Ban (Legal and Human Rights issues); UNCTAD and private banks (Economics and Finance); OHCHR (Sexual and Gender Education), among others.
