IAPTI Third International Conference: Call for Papers

IAPTI is inviting all translators and interpreters to submit their presentation proposals for its 3rd international conference in Bordeaux, France. This year’s keynote speaker will be David Bellos, author of Is That a Fish in Your Ear? Translation and the Meaning of Everything.
Mark your calendars and start making plans to meet fellow translators and interpreters, share knowledge, network, all the while enjoying the beautiful city of Bordeaux. If you have attended or heard about our past conferences and events, you will know that this is an event that cannot be missed!

The association, an advocate for ethical practices in translation and interpreting, unites language professionals from 69 countries. If you share and support IAPTI’s mission, consider making a presentation at our third conference to share your ideas with this very diverse audience. All topics related to T&I are welcome.
Abstracts should be between 200 and 300 words and be submitted to the Organizing Committee at frconference@iapti.org by March 30, 2015. *Priority will be given to new topics not presented before in other conferences*. Please include a short bio (up to 100 words) and profile photo with your proposal.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept or reject proposals and shall notify applicants accordingly. Please note that the conference attendance fee is waived for speakers. (No monetary compensation or expense reimbursement is offered).
