ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
My professional experience as an interpreter includes work I performed for grant-funded field research in northeast Brazil in 2023. In this project I served as an interpreter of interviews and as a translator overseeing the transcription of Portuguese audio into English text. Earlier, I served as an interpreter for a similar research project in the Amazon. Finally, I am included as a collaborator in a field research grant to complete these fieldwork collections in south Brazil. In this capacity, I will be responsible for interpreting interviews and analyzing all transcripts in English for accuracy vis-à-vis original audio recordings in Portuguese.
