Attila Piroth

Attila was an Erasmus student in Athens, and that semester played an instrumental role in his choice of becoming a translator. He holds a PhD in theoretical physics and specializes in scientific and technical translations. Attila is an ATA-certified English to Hungarian translator and a certified CAT tool trainer. He has mentored early-career translators, paying special attention to the use of translation technology. He is the vice president of IAPTI's Ethics Committee. He has held conference presentations in eleven countries.
