I am a native Greek, professional freelance translator, working from English into Greek. I have obtained a BA Degree in English Language & Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (4-year study programme in Thessaloniki, Greece) and an MA in Translation Studies from CTIS, UMIST, UK (1-year study programme in Manchester, UK), where I specialised in technical and commercial translation. In UMIST, I have also attended classes like cultural/ethnographic theories, norms & laws of translation, cross-cultural communication and other translation related subjects.
