ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
I have been a full-time, self-employed language services professional since June 2019. Alongside a freelance role at the United Nations as a Verbatim Reporter, where I began as an intern and have now been contracted since September 2017, I have gradually expanded my own client base. Scholingual Language Services offers a variety of linguistic solutions, including transcription, proofreading and copywriting, with a focus on audiovisual translation. I have been working with my main client, a global television network, since March 2019 on a wide range of TV and film content, as a subtitle translator and proofreader. I have also recently joined the freelance team at FIFA as a translator and editor ahead of the upcoming men’s World Cup.
