{"id":1113,"date":"2013-09-16T05:21:58","date_gmt":"2013-09-16T05:21:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iapti.org\/conferenceUK\/?page_id=1113"},"modified":"2013-09-18T05:00:51","modified_gmt":"2013-09-18T05:00:51","slug":"marta-morros","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.iapti.org\/conferenceUK\/marta-morros\/","title":{"rendered":"Marta Morros"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div class=\"one-third\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"padding: 10px; border: 1px solid #002A3F; width: 90%;\" alt=\"\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.iapti.org\/conferenceUK\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Marta-Morros-photo-APTIC.jpg\" \/><\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"two-third last\"><\/div><div class=\"clear\"><\/div><em><strong>The V\u00e9rtice Network of Associations in Spain: Strength through unity<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Union makes you stronger<\/strong>, and Spain\u2019s associations reached the conclusion that what unites us is considerably more than that which divides us.<\/p>\n<p>In 2009, the professional translation, interpretation and proofreading associations active in Spain joined forces to open a communication channel and share information.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, V\u00e9rtice has evolved, maintaining a key role in the life of the member associations, both internally and in broadcasting our work to the outside world.<\/p>\n<p>The V\u00e9rtice network is not an association, federation or a legal entity; it is a platform for collaboration. It generates numerous advantages, including the development of association activity and a greater unity and visibility of professional translators.<\/p>\n<p>It currently comprises 17 associations of all kinds, incorporating some 4,000 translators, interpreters and proofreaders from across Spain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>APTIC<\/strong> (Associaci\u00f3 de Traductors i Int\u00e8rprets de Catalunya [The Association of Translators and Interpreters of Catalonia]) hosted V\u00e9rtice\u2019s third meeting in Barcelona in June 2012 and will provide its experience as an association within this collaborative platform.<\/p>\n<p>Want to learn more about the <strong>V\u00e9rtice Network<\/strong>?
