IAPTI 7th International Conference for Translators and Interpreters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

IAPTI is inviting all translators and interpreters to submit their presentation proposals for its 7th International Conference, to be held on 28\u201329 September 2024 in Bursa, T\u00fcrkiye. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Save the date in your calendars and start making plans to meet fellow translators and interpreters from around the globe, share knowledge and network, while enjoying the ancient city of Bursa on the edge of two continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have attended or heard about our past conferences (London, Athens, Bordeaux, Buenos Aires, Valencia and Timi\u015foara), then you know this is an event not to be missed! There will also be fun side events for attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The association, an advocate for ethical practices in translation and interpreting, unites language professionals from all over the world. If you share and support IAPTI&#39;s mission, why not consider giving a presentation at our conference to share your ideas with this very diverse audience? All topics related to translation, interpreting, technology, languages and terminology are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abstracts should be a maximum of 200 words and be submitted to the Organising Committee at bursaconference@iapti.org by 30 April, 2024. *Priority will be given to new topics not presented before at other conferences. Please include a title and description, a short bio (up to 100 words) and a profile photo with your proposal. Speakers will have 45\u201350 minutes for their presentations and 10 minutes for Q&A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Organising Committee reserves the right to accept or reject proposals and will notify applicants accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference fee is waived for speakers (1 per presentation; please note no other monetary\/travel compensation or reimbursement is offered).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
