About Bursa<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Bursa is a large city in northwest Turkey, lying in the foothills of roughly 2,500m-high Mount Uluda\u011f near the Sea of Marmara. The city is known for its mosques and historical sites from the early Ottoman Empire. It’s nicknamed “Ye\u015fil Bursa” (Green Bursa), owing to its many parks and trees, as well as its dramatic mountain backdrop. The 14th-century Ulu Cami (Great Mosque) features Seljuk-style arches and 20 domes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

How to get to Bursa:
\n1. Fly to \u0130stanbul Airport (https:\/\/www.istairport.com\/en\/?locale=en<\/a>)
\n2. Go to “Transportation Floor 2” without leaving the airport building (https:\/\/www.istairport.com\/en\/airport\/airport-transportation\/intercity-transportation\/public-transportation\/?locale=en<\/a>)
\n3. Find platform 18.
\n4. Take the bus that goes to Bursa with “Istanbul Seyahat”. It takes around 2 hours 20 minutes depending on traffic.
\n5. Get off at Bursa Intercity Bus Terminal (https:\/\/www.burulas.com.tr\/en\/bursa-bus-terminal<\/a>)
\n6. Take the inner-city bus number 38, which follows the most direct route to the city center. Keep in mind that you can board all inner-city buses using a credit card.
\n7. Get off at “Heykel” station (pronunciation: Hey-kell).
\n8. You’re in the city center! Let your adventure begin!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Note you can use buses<\/a>,\u00a0ferry boats<\/a>, and planes to visit Bursa from any major airport in Turkey. There are tickets available every day. Since Bursa is centrally located, most major cities will be within hours of drive distance.<\/p>\n

Two companies operate fast passenger-only ferries between Istanbul’s\u00a0Kabata\u015f<\/a>,\u00a0Yenikap\u0131<\/a>,\u00a0Kad\u0131k\u00f6y<\/a> docks and Bursa docks. More info here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
